My black and white music and dance images are produced in two main editions
Archival baryta prints
I use a heavyweight paper called Canson Baryta Photographique 340gsm for my prints. It has the look, feel and longevity of a traditional darkroom baryta paper, featuring a barium sulphate coating for rich blacks and a pearlescent finish. It's made from an alpha-cellulose and cotton blend and is acid-free. It makes a beautiful print!

Palladium platinum print
For serious collectors of black and white photography I offer a Palladium Platinum Print. Platinum prints are the ultimate expression of bespoke craft printing. In the hands of a master printer they can provide a unique register of tones and effects bringing unexpected nuances from a negative. Prints created in this way have an ethereal quality with incredible detail, enhanced by the way the chemicals soak into the fibres of the paper. They are also light fast and therefore not subject to any form of fading over time. My platinum prints are produced by Max Caffell of 31 Studio, a recognised master of this art.

Brushed Aluminium
The Spirit of Revolution series is also produced printed directly on to a composite panel with a brushed aluminum surface. The image is produced with UV Fine Art inks (75 years), to give a matte finish with metallic highlights and no glare. The white parts of the image are not printed, so the brushed surface shines through. The 3mm thick high-quality print is light and resilient and suitable for sheltered outdoor areas or bathrooms. Giving these gritty individuals a very contemporary feel.

Landscapes
Archival prints on Hahnemuhle Rag 308gsm
For landscapes I use the more ethereal Hahnemuhle Rag. This 100% cotton rag paper has a characteristic smooth, matte surface and lightly defined felt structure that gives images a three-dimensional appearance. It is a versatile, acid- and lignin-free paper, prized by photographers and artists for producing museum-quality prints with deep blacks and excellent detail.
